Philanthropy Forum

Philanthropy Forum is led by a steering committee chaired by Professor Dan Brändström. The Forum aims to, through research, highlight the importance of philanthropy for economic growth and prosperity. The Forum has hosted a number of public seminars including the international event Swedish Philanthropy Summit.

Recent activities held in English

Swedish Philanthropy Summit 

In 2016 Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum arranged a conference discussing philanthropy as an important factor for entrepreneurship, diversity and change in both the Swedish and the international economy. Prominent researchers in the field as well as well-known philanthropists, politicians and practitioners presented new research and participated in the discussions and the subsequent reception.

Social Impact Investment – financing future challenges

On Friday December 12 2015, Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum and the Forum for Social Innovation Sweden arranged a lunch seminar on new forms of financing social innovation. The audience listened to presentations and discussions on Social Impact Investment – investments for a better and more sustainable society.
