Highlights from Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum 2017

Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum would like to enlighten you of some entrepreneurial highlights of the past year.

Hernando de Soto, founder of the Institute for Liberty and Democracy (ILD) in Lima, Peru, received this year’s Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research. Here with Johan Eklund, Managing Director Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum and Professor BTH and Magdalena Andersson, minister of finance.

In March, UBS and Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum launched a study on philanthropy in the Nordic countries, Creating impact through philanthropy – A Nordic perspective. The study was based on in-depth interviews with over 40 philanthropists across Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

In January we learned from the American model when Cass Sunstein, Professor at Harvard and co-author with this year’s Nobel laureate Richard Thaler, gave a speech on the theme Better regulations – how is it possible?
