
Global Award 2017: Prize ceremony and lecture
The Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research is the leading international award for research on entrepreneurship. The Prize is awarded annually with a prize sum of EUR 100,000. This year, the award is awarded to Hernando de Soto, Head of the Institute for Liberty and Democracy (ILD) in Lima, Peru. He holds a prize lecture in connection with the award ceremony.
The prize is handed over by Finance Minister Magdalena Andersson who together with Hernando de Soto participates in the panel discussion that ends the seminar. Additional panelists are Professor Magnus Henrekson, IFN, and Joakim Appelquist, Vinnova. The seminar is chaired by Tove Lifvendahl, political editor of Svenska Dagbladet. Johan Eklund, Managing Director Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum and Professor BTH and JIBS, will hold a short introduction speach.
Welcome to the award ceremony and lecture on Monday 15 May in Grünewaldsalen, the Concert Hall in Stockholm, at. 16.00-17.30 with subsequent mingel.
