The Swedish government appoints an Entrepreneurship Committee with the task of reviewing corporate tax rates and conditions to start, operate, develop and own businesses in Sweden. Pontus Braunerhjelm, CEO at the Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum and Professor at the Royal Institute of Engineering, is designated as the Chairman of the Committee.
The Entrepreneurship Committee will take a holistic approach to the conditions for entrepreneurship and enterprise. The aim is to strengthen the business climate, promote entrepreneurship and innovation, facilitate the provision of skills and improve the opportunities for entrepreneurship.
- The Entrepreneurship Committee will deal with issues to which I have devoted my research for the past decade. I have an ambition to raise these questions to the same level as for example the tax burden in general, government spending and monetary policy. I see this as a proof that I and the Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum are approaching our goal, says Pontus Braunerhjelm.
